    Please note — we’ll email you a preview of what your envelope will look like so you can check it before going to print!

    Art shouldn’t be too close to the edge of the envelope.

    Envelope with artwork kept clear of the edges
    Can do: There should be space between the artwork and the edge.
    Envelope with artwork touching the edges
    Don’t do: Art should be at least 1/16″ from the edge. If you require full bleed printing, please call 877.280.5083 for special pricing.

    Avoid heavy coverage, especially on the flap.

    Envelope back with light ink coverage
    Can do: Light coverage will help you get the best results.
    Envelope back flap fully covered in ink
    Don’t do: Avoid full bleeds on the flap. Don’t use large blocks of color. If you require full bleed printing on the back flap, please call 877.280.5083 for special pricing.

    Preferred file type

    Tips:

    The preferred file type is a vector PDF, this file type is vector art designed to scale properly.

    • *Illustrator (.AI) files can be uploaded directly with the Upload art file button.
    • *Upload a PDF of Front and PDF of Back separately (does not accept multiple page PDF)

    **We Print using Pantone Uncoated Colors
    1 Color Printing - all file types acceptable (PDF, EPS, png, jpg)
    2 Color Printing - should be vector art for color separation
    3 or 4 Color Printing - all file types acceptable (PDF, EPS, png, jpg)

    We also accept:

    • EPS and Photoshop (.psd), .jpg (image file), .png (image file)
      • *all image files should be High Resolution - at least 300dpi
      • *image files should not be used for 2 Color Print unless colors can be separated

    The following file types must be saved as a PDF for uploading:

    • Word, Excel, Powerpoint, .tiff
    • *if you have these files please save them as a PDF for uploading
